The materials palette for building bike frames is very colorful. While steel and aluminum may be the material of choice for most rides, many other options are sucessfully deployed: carbon composite, titanium, injection molded plastic, it has all been done. Wooden bikes have been around since the beginning, and for good reasons: It's strong, light, it looks awesome and can be applied by anyone with wood working skills.
enserinkdesign.com proudly designed a new frame for Roermond, NL based wood working prodigy Pim Schoren, to add to his growing PiM.BiKE product range. We worked on a road racer design that suits his sandwich build method perfectly. Wood we ride it? Oh yeah!
